MANAGING PARTNER AND CO-FOUNDER

Megan is the co-founder and Managing Partner of HJW Attorneys, which she founded together with Richard Wands in 2018. She was admitted as an attorney in 2012 and as a Conveyancer in 2024.

Whilst she is widely recognised as one of the most highly regarded Divorce, Child and Family Law attorneys in South Africa, due to the complex nature of the matters that she deals with, Megan’s fields of specialisation also include commercial and general litigation as well as commercial advisory work.

Megan's prowess in these fields led to her being shortlisted for the award of Partner of the Year (Africa) at the African Legal Awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

MANAGING PARTNER AND CO-FOUNDER

Having started his own practice in 2014, after working in-house for Standard Bank, Richard specialises in General Litigation, Commercial Law and Family Law.

Richard has extensive experience in the Companies Act, Competition Law and Banking and Finance and has advised listed entities and SMME’s on various complex transactions, drafting contracts for these entities too, in line with their bespoke needs.

Natasha qualified as an attorney in 2010 and conveyancer in 2011 and specialises in General Magistrates Court and High Court Litigation, with a primary focus on debt collection, residential and commercial evictions, and property law disputes and works closely with her clients to ensure that they receive tailor made legal solutions. Natasha can also assist with the administration of deceased estates, whether it be as appointed executor or in a supporting administrative role.

Hayden began his articles as Candidate Attorney in January 2026 at HJW Attorneys is currently working in the collections department, specifically dealing with Evictions.

ASSOCIATE DESIGNATE

Jade graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2023 and holds a BA Law degree and a LLB degree with electives in Deeds and Notarial Practice, Sports Law, Media Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Zané Boshoff is an Associate at HJW Attorneys who assists clients with a range of family, commercial and general legal matters.

Gabrielle graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2025 with an LLB, completing electives in Competition Law, Consumer and Credit Agreements, and Appropriate Dispute Resolution.

ASSOCIATE DESIGNATE

Jemma graduated with a BCom Law Degree from Varsity College and an LLB degree from IIE MSA. She is currently working in the collections department dealing with foreclosures and Sales in Execution.
